I had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse but I will definitely go back. The atmosphere was energized and fun. The staff was attentive and engaging. The food was pure dining heaven. The dishes on the side bars were phenomenal. The variety of meat brought to the table was all wonderful. Bacon-wrapped chicken, grilled shrimp, beef, lamb, pork - each one cooked to perfection and more delicious than the last. The entire meal was pure ecstasy for my taste buds. Fantastic experience!

The food is authentic and excellent, served in the traditional, boisterous manner of Brazil. No need for salad here either. Eating at a churrascaria is a fun game where the gauchos attempt to stuff your face to the point where your stomach is ready to burst. The service is fast and furious. Challenge yourself to see how many "rounds" you can take. If you want meat and lots of it and dont mind the traditional, Brazilian style of service then be prepared for a tasty, filling culinary experience.

After Honolulu and Hong Kong, the owners picked St. Louis for their first mainland US restaurant, and we are lucky they did. The servers bring around the meat - mainly steak, plus some chicken, sausage, and shrimp - at juts the right pace. The side menu bar offers a great variety, from veggies to salads, rice and beans, and more. Great atmosphere; great food - for lunch and dinner. We will return many times.

I went to Bacana without a lot of Brazilian dining experience. Boss paid for a dinner at a place in Chicago, Brazza's. Bacana was better and a lot cheaper which was good because I was paying for this one.
The grilled meats were really tasty. I rate the top sirloin and lamb as the best, although the pork was very good also. The salad bar was pretty good, I really liked a bean stew they had on a hot line. Chunks of pork and beef were in the stew and it was great on rice.
The really cool thing about this restaurant, for me, was the service. The staff, quite a few of them real Brazilians, were friendly and truly kind in helping me to understand the cuisine.
Great place, I will be back!!
